I have a love-hate relationship with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation agriculture program. Sometimes they do amazing things to promote sustainability and food security. And then at other times there is a push for genetic modification and only technological solutions. So when I happened across this infographic, it was encouraging to see a mix of solutions...specifically in the context of supporting the woman's role in agriculture. It feels a little like a video game (Harvest Moon?), but the message of how critical women are to sustainable agriculture and a sustainable future is quite clear.
